Long Polyp Green Toadstool Leather Coral

Long Polyp Toadstool Leather Corals, Sarcophyton sp., are hardy soft corals with a stalked base, rounded cap, and extended polyps that create a flowing, grassy appearance. They are popular centerpiece soft corals for reef aquariums.
Care Guide: Place Sarcophyton sp. in moderate light with moderate, indirect flow. Flow should encourage gentle movement and help the coral shed when needed. Periodic closing or shedding is normal. Maintain stable salinity and water quality, and allow space for the cap and polyps to expand.
